Job Description
- Perform complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems
- Route wire harnesses, install connectors, perform wire splicing, crimping, and termination
- Conduct repairs, rework, and incorporate engineering changes
- Fiber optic cleaning, inspection, and installation
- Perform bonding and grounding, including resistance testing
- Operate mechanical lifts and work with chemical solvents, sealants, and coatings
- Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with FAA regulations
- Follow detailed work instructions and safety regulations
Key Skills:
- Electrical Assembly: Wire bundle installations, crimping, termination, and connector installations
- Aircraft Electrical Systems Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in aircraft systems
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions
- Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Safety and Compliance: Ability to adhere to safety protocols and FAA quality standards
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing
- 7 years of experience in electrical assembly, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work any shift based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years of related experience or equivalent education
- Aviation experience or completed aviation degrees preferred
