Job Description
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the development and construction of electrical cabinets, ensuring coordination with the internal teams within the Electrical Projects Department to guarantee quality and optimal functionality. This role includes directing and monitoring the installation of electrical components in tools, mechanical devices, and lines, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. The supervisor ensures adherence to project specifications by overseeing construction processes, conducting quality checks, and performing checklists for both electrical cabinets and installations. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of electrical safety, efficiency, and compliance in production environments.
Qualifications
Hardware Knowledge of circuit breakers, relays, and other protection and control devices essential for safeguarding electrical installations- Safety Standards and Regulations (OSHA, IEC): Awareness of safety standards and regulations specific to electrical installations to ensure compliance and safety on-site.
- Electrical Testing Equipment: Proficiency in using tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and power quality analyzers for electrical testing and validation.
- Cable Management Systems: Expertise in designing and implementing cable management solutions to ensure organized and efficient routing of electrical cables.
- Ability to review and make changes to EPLAN
- Electrical installation and materials knowledge
- ASTRAS proficiency (service requests and tenders)
