Quality Systems Supervisor
Summary
The Quality Systems Supervisor directs SEH-A Quality Management System activities and enforces the requirements of the QMS. They manage supplier quality assurance and internal audits while providing leadership, training, and supervision to QM staff members.
Job Duties
Compensation for the role will be based on a number of different factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, education, knowledge, skills and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role demonstrating leadership skills and potential.
Able to demonstrate a high degree of technical knowledge of quality systems including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work with multiple managerial levels within the organization.
Demonstrated ability to present accurate, concise, and complete information in written forms and in oral presentations.
Proven ability to act as a role model for other employees, characteristics include (but are not limited to), good work ethic, quality driven, dependable/reliable, team oriented, respectful of others and company policies and procedures.
Training and/or experience working with high performance work teams demonstrating skills in group facilitation, problem solving, conflict resolution, and communication.
Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills appropriate to a multi-task manufacturing environment.
Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Semiconductor or related large plant/ high tech environment experience ideal.
Knowledge of metrology process control systems.
Certified as an ISO / IATF internal auditor
Detailed understanding of FMEA and Control plan methodology
Physical Environment And Requirements
Position is mostly office based with extended time at a desk with computer / monitors.
Physically able to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and PPE.
Employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Quality Systems Supervisor

The Quality Systems Supervisor directs SEH-A Quality Management System activities and enforces the requirements of the QMS. They manage supplier quality assurance and internal audits while providing leadership, training, and supervision to QM staff members.
Job Duties
- Oversee the Supplier Quality Management program working alongside the Purchasing Manager to ensure our suppliers are meeting our internal quality needs.
- Conduct Supplier audits
- Maintain the supplier handbook and make sure all of our critical suppliers are IS0 9001 certified.
- Manage supplier continual improvement activities and scorecards.
- Lead investigation of supplier issues and work with the vendor to address corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead the supplier CofA project to incorporate data into camLine SQM and drive to ship to control with Tier 1 and 2 suppliers.
- Ensure supplier quality systems adhere to all applicable regulations and standards.
- Lead the internal audit program. Direct and perform quality systems audits for all business units. Work with the process owners to drive quality improvement activities and KPI’s.
- Coordinate customer and third-party external quality system audits for the site.
- Perform analysis and identify trends as it relates to quality processes and product and recommend corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure document control system follows established policy and procedures and meets company storage and retention times.
- Ensure activities follow company and industry quality assurance standards and government regulations.
- Confirm that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.
- Supervise direct reports, evaluate performance, pay, promotions, and other employment related decisions.
- Guide team members to achieve greater levels of knowledge in our QMS.
- Manage disciplinary issues, conflict resolution per SEH policy and legal requirements. Consistently and fairly apply company policy. Keep information confidential, as appropriate. Act as a role model for teams and individuals.
- Ensure a safe work environment. Communicate safety standards to staff and verify that safety policies and procedures are followed. Identify unsafe conditions and acts, enforce all relevant state/federal laws and company policies. Investigate safety incidents.
- This is an exempt (salaried) position. Must be available for situations that may arise outside of standard working hours.
