We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating various production equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities:
1. Operate production equipment including coilers, winders, extrusion machines, die cutters, and vacuum forming equipment.
2. Assemble packaging materials according to specifications and quality standards.
3. Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and customer expectations.
4. Palletize finished products in an organized and efficient manner for storage and shipment.
5. Conduct job setups on extrusion, die cut, and vacuum forming equipment, ensuring proper settings and configurations for each production run.
6. Perform material changes on all production equipment as needed to support manufacturing processes.
7. Troubleshoot production equipment and processes to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules.
8. Maintain accurate documentation of machine setups, production runs, and shipping information.
9. Demonstrate good housekeeping practices and adhere to safety protocols to create a clean and safe work environment.
10. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor to support the needs of the manufacturing operation.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
2. Proven experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging or related industries.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery and process issues effectively.
4. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
5. Ability to follow instructions, read technical documents, and interpret specifications accurately.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet production deadlines.
7. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
