In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential vehicle maintenance services, primarily focusing on oil changes and fluid checks. As a Lube Technician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service and maintaining the safety and performance of our clients' vehicles.
Duties
- Perform oil changes and fluid checks according to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect vehicles for any signs of wear or potential issues, including tire condition and pressure.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Assist with additional automotive services as needed, including tire service and basic automotive diagnostics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their concerns.
- Knowledge of tire service practices and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and automotive equipment safely.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assist in diagnosing vehicle issues.
- Experience as a mechanic or service technician is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform automotive diagnostics to identify potential problems in vehicles.
- Sales skills are a plus, as you may be required to recommend additional services based on vehicle inspections.
