What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dye Operator - 3rd Shift position at Seiren North America, LLC?
Position Summary:
The responsibilities of this position include operation of the jet dye machine and extractor.
This position will occasionally be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Seiren safety and quality standards
- Prepare dyestuff and chemicals
- Load and unload jet machines
- Operate jet dye machines (inputting dyes and chemicals, sampling, setting, etc.)
- Input fabric to extractor and removal of fabric from extractor
- Operation of extractor
- Cut samples of each dyeing
- Perform other duties as required in supporting departmental goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent NOT required
- Minimum 1 year of work-related experience preferred
- Must have the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have good low-level decision making skills
- The ability to work well without close supervision is very important
