Position Overview:
As a Busser at Seis Kitchen, you will play an important role in creating an outstanding dining experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the dining areas. You will support servers and the front-of-house team by promptly clearing tables, resetting for new guests, and assisting with general cleanliness and guest comfort throughout the restaurant.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
· Clear and clean tables quickly and efficiently between guest visits.
· Reset tables with appropriate silverware, napkins, and table settings.
· Assist with general cleanliness of the dining room, including sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces.
· Ensure beverage stations, service areas, and restrooms remain clean, organized, and stocked during service.
· Assist servers with delivering food, refilling water, and attending to guest needs as requested.
· Communicate clearly with servers and hosts to ensure timely turnover of tables and guest satisfaction.
· Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately and maintain cleanliness of service stations.
· Follow health, sanitation, and safety guidelines at all times.
· Provide a friendly and professional presence while on the floor.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or front-of-house leadership.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred but not required.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
· Positive attitude and desire to contribute to an exceptional guest experience.
· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
· Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
Physical Requirements:
· **Standing and Walking for Extended Periods:** Bussers are consistently on their feet, moving quickly throughout the dining area and kitchen.
· **Lifting and Carrying:** Must be able to lift trays, dishes, trash bags, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
· **Bending and Reaching:** Regular tasks involve bending to pick up dropped items, reaching across tables, and carrying items at different heights.
· **Working in a Fast-Paced Environment:** Requires the ability to stay calm, efficient, and focused during busy service hours.
· **Attention to Cleanliness:** Maintaining a clean and sanitary space requires constant visual attention and physical effort.
