1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Thursday; 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM Friday
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Monday - Friday

Position
As a Non Descructive Testing Technician you will perform non-descrutive inspections on parts as required by work instructions and customer requirements.
Quality Technician Responsibilities include:
- Perform inspections (UT/IRT), collect data, and crete reports
- Active prticipation in company Zero Defects program - involvement in developing solutions to process issues that create scrap/MRB/rework.
- Obtain specifications from complicated blueprints, research and experimental designs, engineering orders, etc.
- Participate in development of program specific NDT documents.
- Assist Level 3 in development and implementation of processes and procedures for new or revised NDT methods.
- May aid, guide or assist technicians in an advisory capacity in proper inspection methods and procedures and may check their work for accuracy and acceptability.
Preferred Qualifications
- STrong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within spreadsheets, databases, and word documents.Strong and collaborative relationships with management, peers and production team members.
- Desire to learn.
- Mechanical aptitude or background.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Good attention to detail.
- Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, conduct tests, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT method.
- Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and/or supervision to technicians and Level 1 personnel in the technique/method in which they are certified.
- Be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method used onsite.
- Be capable of developing written instructions from approved general procedures. Such instructions will require final approval by the designated Level 3.
