Duties:
- Supervise a team of quality inspectors, assigning tasks and ensuring proper execution of quality checks throughout the production process
- Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to verify compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and implement corrective actions.
- Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and implement changes to enhance product consistency and reduce defects.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues at the source.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and documentation to ensure clear guidelines for inspection and testing.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant quality standards, regulations, and company policies, including ISO certifications and FDA guidelines.
- Investigate quality issues, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of problems.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Experience in manufacturing processes and quality standards relevant to the industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes of quality issues.
- Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a quality team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate quality concerns to production staff and management.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and quality management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
