Selby Jennings has partnered with the Finance team of a well-established manufacturing firm in Milwaukee, WI on a search for a new Accounting Manager. This role is responsible for cost accounting, month-end close, account reconciliation, budgeting, financial modeling, and year-end audits. The Accounting Manager is also responsible for leading and developing the accounting team while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, GAAP, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Acumatica) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
