The role involves supporting actuarial functions, including pricing, trend analysis, reserving, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and experience with actuarial modeling and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis to support pricing, reserving, and forecasting initiatives.
- Research and validate data sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain and update actuarial models for business decision-making.
- Develop financial and enrollment reports for internal review.
- Utilize actuarial software and databases, such as SAS and SQL, for data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one SOA exam is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with databases, SAS, and SQL is preferred.
