- Lead and manage the health care underwriting team, ensuring high performance and providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement underwriting policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent risk assessment and compliance with regulations.
- Analyze health care insurance applications, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements while collaborating with actuarial, claims, and sales teams.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and adjust underwriting practices as needed, reviewing and approving large and complex applications.
- Mentor and train junior underwriters, conduct audits for quality and compliance, and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and re insurers.
Salary : $180,000 - $300,000
