Investment Banking Renewables Analyst

Our client is leading financial services company dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals. Our Investment Banking division provides comprehensive advisory services, including M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory. Their Power and Renewables team is looking to add experienced Investment Banking Analysts with direct experience in the renewables and power sector to join their team in New York.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analyses and develop models to support transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory in the renewables sector.
• Create and refine pitch books, presentations, and transaction documents for client engagements.
• Perform comprehensive industry research and market analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks within the renewables sector.
• Assist in the execution of live transactions, including conducting due diligence, performing valuations, and supporting negotiation processes.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and clients to develop and implement strategic recommendations and solutions.
• Track and analyze regulatory changes and assess their impact on the renewables sector.
• Contribute to the development and execution of renewable energy projects and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain and update databases of industry metrics, financial data, and transaction records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience in investment banking, with a focus on the renewables sector.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of renewable energy policies, regulations, and market dynamics.
