Our client is a multi-billion hedge fund, and we are hiring for a Senior Python Developer to be based in the New York office. This hire is part of business expansion, and you will be working closely with senior stakeholders across the team's front and middle office teams on the build-out.
Salary: up to $500k Total Compensation
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and architect Python-based applications according to business requirements and technical specifications.
- Implement security and data protection measures for systems configurations.
- Lead multiple large-scale projects at enterprise-level
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing operating systems.
- Optimize the platform for maximum speed and scalability.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and frameworks
- Prior experience working in financial industry / trading teams is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
