Position Overview:
The firm is specifically looking for a Managing Director with deep expertise and transaction experience in one or more of the following sectors: Food & Beverage, Agriculture, Distribution, or Business Services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of originating and closing deals, backed by an existing book of business generating at least $1 million in annual revenue.
This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where you can leverage a robust infrastructure while continuing to build and manage client relationships, lead transaction execution, and contribute to the firm's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Originate and execute investment banking transactions in your sector of expertise
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on M&A, private capital raises, and other strategic initiatives
Maintain and expand a strong network of corporate and sponsor relationships
Lead deal teams and oversee all phases of transaction execution
Partner with senior leadership to drive strategy, sector expansion, and market positioning
Mentor junior bankers and foster a high-performing, collaborative culture
Represent the firm at industry events and client engagements
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in investment banking with a strong focus in Food & Beverage, Agriculture, Distribution, or Business Services
Demonstrated ability to consistently generate $1M in annual revenue through a personal book of business
Proven success in leading M&A and capital markets transactions
Strong existing relationships with middle-market companies, private equity, and institutional investors
Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills
FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses required (or ability to obtain)
MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
