What are the responsibilities and job description for the Portfolio Manager - Systematic Equities / Futures position at Selby Jennings?
I've recently partnered with the CIO at rapidly growing NY based Multi Strat fund that is actively expanding their short term systematic global equities and futures platform. The fund is targeting Senior PMs with a 3 year track record of managing money and holding periods consisting of intraday to 1 week.
The firm is a bit leaner and more of a nimble trading shop given they were only founded 7 years ago but at the same time, offers great infrastructure, and a multi-asset approach.
Qualifications:
- MS or PhD (ideally) in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or a Quantitative discipline
- 3 track record in managing money, Sharpe of 2.0 , and ideally $10mm in PnL YOY
- Proficiency in Python and/or C
- Coming from a reputable systematic fund or prop trading firm
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
