The private debt division of a global asset management and investment advisory firm is looking to add a Private Credit Senior Investment Associate to the team in New York, NY. The firm's Private Debt strategy seeks to invest in highly negotiated, private debt investments in middle market companies through a variety of transactions including growth financings, recapitalizations, and acquisition-related financings. The team is looking to add a Private Credit Associate/Senior Associate in the New York office. This individual will be responsible for underwriting, structuring, and executing private credit transactions for sponsored & non-sponsored middle market companies with EBITDA of $20 - $100 million across industries.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 2 years of investment banking experience and/or 2 years of principal investing experience (non-sponsored lending experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Desire to join a growing team within a well-established and successful platform
