I am working with a leading global insurer on a Regional Underwriting Manager position, overseeing underwriting staff and strategy. You'll manage performance, set goals, and ensure profitability in Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Commercial Auto Liability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop underwriting staff.
- Set and achieve regional production and profitability goals.
- Serve as a technical expert in underwriting.
- Collaborate with brokers and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance and maintain strong broker relationships.
- Travel as needed for business development.
- 10 years in underwriting and team management.
- CPCU, ARM, or similar designations preferred.
- Expertise in loss-sensitive and guaranteed cost programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
