A leading global investment management firm is seeking a Settlements and Collateral Analyst to join its operations team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple asset classes-including equity, fixed income, FX, and derivatives-while engaging with a wide array of teams across trading, compliance, and external counterparties.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor trade settlement for equity, fixed income, FX, and derivative transactions.
- Ensure accuracy of broker and custodian settlement instructions.
- Process and reconcile collateral movements with counterparties and custodians.
- Review and sign off on OTC derivative confirmations.
- Support onboarding efforts and market documentation negotiation.
- Investigate and resolve valuation discrepancies and settlement issues.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
Ideal Candidate
- 1-3 years of experience in securities operations, investment operations or a related financial services role.
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, including global settlement practices
- Proficiency in tools like SWIFT, and familiarity with platforms such as Aladdin, TradeNeXus, Acadia MarginSphere, or TriResolve is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
