Our client is a middle-market investment bank specializing in M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory for middle-market companies in Transportation & Logistics. They are seeking an Investment Banking VP to join the team during an exciting growth period.
Role Overview:
The Investment Banking VP will play a key role in executing transactions, conducting financial analysis, and supporting senior bankers on M&A, financing, and advisory projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with direct exposure to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build financial models (DCF, precedent transactions, comps) and conduct valuation analysis.
- Support M&A and capital raising processes, including drafting presentations and term sheets.
- Assist with due diligence, market research, and client meetings.
- Help structure and negotiate transactions.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate across the firm.
Requirements:
- ~4-6 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience (industrials/T&L background preferred).
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
