Job Title: Vice President, Investment Banking - Specialty Insurance Distribution

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to join its greater Financial Advisory team. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading transaction teams, managing client relationships, and driving growth within the specialty insurance distribution market. This role involves overseeing merger and acquisition (M&A) advisory, business valuation, due diligence, and financial consulting projects. he role will be focused on clients and prospects in the Specialty Insurance Distribution market, including: Program Managers, Wholesale Brokerage, InsurTech, MGAs, MGUs, and Risk Retention Groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage transaction teams in the execution of M&A advisory assignments within the specialty insurance distribution sector.
- Manage both sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory engagements, including financial analysis and modeling, due diligence, identifying and contacting potential buyers or sellers, deal structuring and negotiations, oversight of the day-to-day deal process, and ultimately lead to a successful closing of transaction
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and insights to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including valuation modeling, due diligence, and preparation of marketing materials.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of pitch books, management presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the specialty insurance distribution market.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Stay on top of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to provide informed advice to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in investment banking or transaction advisory with a focus on the financial institutions sector, particularly specialty insurance distribution.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing M&A transactions.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to clients.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Compensation:
Base: $130k - $180k 50%-100% bonus
Salary : $130,000 - $180,000
