Shifts:
4:00am to 1:00pm
12:00pm to 8:30pm
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee our team of electricians. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring the operations of the electrical department.
The Electrical Supervisor’s responsibilities include ensuring quality workmanship, following safety procedures, supervising and scheduling staff and contractors, and monitoring the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced electrician who is knowledgeable about industry best practices, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the electrical team’s operations
Ensure all electrical work meets quality and safety standards
Plan, schedule, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
Develop and implement maintenance procedures and manage the emergency electrical services
Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting to detect faulty wiring or defective parts and arrange for necessary repairs
Provide training and guidance to the electrical team
Prepare and present reports on the status of electrical projects
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an electrical supervisor or a similar role in the electrical field Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, electrical repairs, components, and safety procedures
Familiarity with electrical system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations Leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Professional certification such as a diploma or a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
