SelecSource McDonough is assisting a client in Jackson, GA that's looking for a Warehouse Associate with PROVEN Sit-Down and Reach Forklift Operator experience to join their team.
Location: Jackson, GA
Salary: $18/HR
Shift: Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5:30 PM with Overtime as needed
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Forklift Operator Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Drives sit-down forklift and Reach forklift
- Moves hazardous materials.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Pallet building and pallet picks.
- Loads goods onto conveyer belts.
- Stacks crates, pallets, or other material.
- Ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods.
- Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damage and shortages.
- Utilizes radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track inventory
- Documents arrival, departure, and movement and storage of goods, checks trucking manifests and bills of lading, maintains inventory, and tracks fulfillment of customer and vendor orders.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Logistics/Supply Chain
- Ability to work and communicate well with people.
- Ability to multi-task in a time sensitive environment.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems and data entry.
- Willing to help in other areas of the warehouse.
- 2 years of Sit-down and Reach Forklift experience.
