Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance:
- Performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Following established maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting equipment as needed.
- Troubleshooting and Repair:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with production equipment.
- Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems.
- Repairing or replacing faulty components.
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Installing new equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring proper alignment and functionality of equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts used.
- Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensuring all safety regulations and procedures are followed during maintenance activities.
- Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.
- Other Duties:
- Assisting with the development of maintenance plans.
- Communicating with production teams and other stakeholders.
- Participating in training and development activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Experience with industrial machinery and equipment.
