Production Team Lead needed in Lawrenceville.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervisor in leading the departmental safety program, including housekeeping disciplines and the investigation of all accidents and injuries.
- Responsible to ensure employees work safely, utilize required PPE and follow safety procedures and policies.
- Responsible for leading the Finishing department’s day to day operations.
- Ensure quality control processes are maintained and practiced, including quality check sheets, are followed daily.
- Maintain material flow ensuring uninterrupted production.
- Ensure production schedule is completed on time.
- Assist the supervisor to train and develop all Finishing employees.
- Promote and maintain a team environment consistent with company values and principles.
- Look for ways to help other departments.
- Communicate clearly and frequently your schedule status to downstream and upstream departments.
- Display a positive, “Can Do” attitude – be a change agent.
- Display a willingness and availability to work irregular hours and overtime as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
