Job Description
Select’s Roustabout positions are in charge of general upkeep of well locations as well as mechanical repairs on equipment; construction, threading pipes, perform mechanical hookups with pumps and valves and general labor duties at well sites. This is an entry-level position that requires at least one year of experience and/or equivalent training, preferably in the energy industry.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
- Adheres to safe work policies and procedures during work shift.
- Oversees the setting of frac tanks.
- Repair and replace valves on frac tank manifolds.
- Changes tires on frac tanks.
- Diagnose frac tank issues.
- Assists truck driver with any tasks on or outside of the truck.
- Completes required work plans, job safety analysis, observations, and attend safety meetings as required.
- Works using had tools or power tools.
- Assists with cleaning frac tanks.
- Performs other duties as required within the scope of the position.

- Must be 18-years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, professional demeanor, exceptional leadership skills.
- Knowledge of natural gas/pipeline industry operations; energy operations and maintenance services.
- Ability to run Bobcat equipment and attachments for trenching, auguring and back filling.
- High energy individual who is motived to excel.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be proficient with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Must have pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
- Must be able to work with little supervision.

Compensation Information
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Physical Demands and Exposures
- Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
