Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Design, modify, develop, write and implement software applications of moderate to difficult complexity.
  • Evaluate user requests to design/modify systems to align with existing or new business processes/goals.
  • Communicate with internal end users and external customers to determine the requirements of requested applications.
  • Design, perform, review, and certify the testing and validation of software applications.
  • Troubleshoot software interfaces and perform testing activities
  • Update knowledge and develop professionally on a continuing basis. Participate in internal and external training and development opportunities as required.
  • Other job-related duties may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. This position may work with highly confidential business information.

Qualifications

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other relevant field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2-5 years of programming experience in
    • C#
    • Asp.Net MVC
    • SQL
    • Html/JavaScript/CSS
    • Git
  • Experience in the following is considered a plus.
    • JIRA
    • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Certification/Licensure Required

  • None

  • Must be able work independently and resolve complex situations.
  • Math skills: basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, percents, decimals), algebraic and geometric calculations.
  • Language skills: exchange basic informational data (fill out forms/checklists, make own appointments, etc.); interview to gather information; advise others on alternatives/options; coach and counsel others; speak in front of groups; read, understand and explain technical data; compose routine and complex business correspondence; proofread written communication for spelling, grammar, and syntax errors.
  • Ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential employee and organization information. Must have a vested interest in using technology to solve business challenges.
  • Excellent customer service skills complemented by an ability to listen to and interpret end user requests.
