Job Summary
As a part-time optician, you will be responsible for assisting patients with selecting and fitting eyewear, adjusting and repairing frames, and maintaining our optical dispensary. You will also conduct pre-testing to gather essential information for the examination. If you're new to the field, don't worry! We're happy to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Consulting patients with their frame and lens selections
- Adjusting and repairing eyeglasses
- Setting up appointments, verifying insurance, order entry, billing insurance
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and team members
- Maintain the optical dispensary, including inventory management and cleaning
- Conduct pre-testing for the doctor
We offer competitive hourly rates, no weekends, an insurance stipend monthly, paid time off, and on the job training.
