What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cytotechnologist/NC position at Select Laboratory Partners?
Select Laboratory Partners, Inc., Greensboro NC is seeking to hire a Cytotechnologist. Position is full time Monday thru Friday, day shift. Medical, dental and vision benefits are options plus a company paid life insurance policy. Enrollment in a 401K thru ADP TotalSource is also available.
Job duties -
- Prepare and exam gynecological and non-gynecological slides according to laboratory and pathologist protocol
- Report results into laboratory information management system
- Record Quality Assurance and Quality Control program documentation
- Adhere to OSHA laboratory safety program guidelines
- Maintain patient protected health information according to HIPPA requirements
- Assist in equipment routine maintenance and upkeep
Education/Certification and Experience-
- Bachelors degree with successful completion of an accredited Cytotechnology program
- ASCP eligibility or certification in Cytotechnology
- 8-10 years of Cytology experience working in a CLIA/CAP approved facility
