SUMMARY
This position is responsible for data entry, prescription processing, monitoring and prioritizing the medication dispensing workflow, and handling rejected claims/third-party adjudication. The technician ensures timely order processing based on delivery timelines while providing excellent customer service via phone and electronic communication.
The ideal candidate has experience in hospice and/or long-term care (LTC) pharmacy and is proficient in QS1 and Docutrack. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and collaboration are essential.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process and bill prescriptions and medical supplies

Perform administrative and record-keeping tasks as assigned

Handle third-party adjudication

Coordinate closely with Select dispatch team

Provide excellent customer service and support

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Active Pharmacy Technician license that is in good standing

3 years of pharmacy processing experience (LTC experience is preferred)

Proficiency in QS1 and Docutrack software systems

Knowledgeable of medication dispensing processes under the physician dispensing protocol in accordance with state and federal regulations

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Ability to communicate professionally with providers, patients, and team members

Strong written and verbal communication skills
