Position: Physical Therapist - Ortho/Oncology
Location: Owings Mills, MD
Schedule: Full time, 2 evenings until 7:30 pm. NO WEEKENDS
Compensation: Salary starting at $85,000, commensurate with experience
Incentives: Up to $20k sign on bonus and/or indefinite student debt program
NovaCare in Owings Mills (Foundry Row) is seeking a full time physical therapist passionate about serving people affected by cancer to join our team as part of our growing ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program. We have a dedicated multidisciplinary outpatient team at this center. Interest in cancer rehab required, experience preferred. Interest/experience in lymphedema is a plus! Caseload will be a mix of ortho and oncology. New grads welcome to apply, as training and mentorship are available. ReVital is an innovative oncology rehabilitation program offered exclusively by Select Medical. Responsibilities
- Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
- Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing PTs
- Complete and maintain required trainings
- Maintain compliance with government regulations
- Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
- Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
- CPR certified
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
- Lymphedema interest/experience
