Salary Range: $50,000-$80,000 annual salary DOE

Job Summary

The Project Manager oversees all aspects of commercial and industrial painting projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional organizational and leadership skills, industry expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or commercial painting, strong communication abilities, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate effectively with General Contractors, Superintendents, in-house teams, subcontractors, and third-party vendors to ensure project success from start to finish.
• Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and manage timelines to achieve timely project completion.
• Prepare and oversee project budgets, maintaining cost controls and ensuring adherence to budgeted limits.
• Hold teams accountable for meeting expectations, tasks, and goals.
• Conduct daily job site visits to monitor progress, provide support, and address challenges.
• Communicate and enforce safety protocols while addressing any job site safety concerns.
• Train employees on essential skills, safety practices, and job responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial painting processes, materials, and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Education & Experience

Prior project management experience and familiarity with tradeswork in a team-based environment

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods.

Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of supplies and equipment.

Comfort working up to 50 feet in the air on ladders, lifts, or roofs.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
