Select Physical Therapy in Anaheim, California, is currently seeking a FULL time Physical Therapist Assistant for our onsite rehabilitation clinic with a premier partner. This is a 40 hour per week position with the opportunity to join our clinical team at the area’s largest theme park!  You will be providing care and treatment for orthopedic and occupational health injuries across a wide range of roles including performers, housekeeping, food service, and high intensity stunt performers.  We are looking for a clinician who enjoys working collaboratively with other PTAs, PTs, OTs, Athletic Trainers, and physicians to promote workplace wellness, injury prevention, and to help restore patients’ function both at work and at home. 

Compensation:

Hourly Rate starting at $31.00/hr up to $35.00/hr Commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Possesses training and education which allows him/her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program.
• Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
• State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
