Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive strategies for student success.
- Develop and implement student-focused programs that promote personal growth and academic achievement.
- Support students in crisis situations with appropriate intervention and referrals.
- Advocate for students' needs and create action plans tailored to their goals.
- Maintain confidential and accurate records in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Counselor Endorsement is required.
- Master’s degree in School Counseling or related field.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate and student-centered approach to counseling.
