We are currently looking for outstanding Social Workers for a part-time opening near Chicago Heights.

Some Responsibilities:
- Listen to students’ needs when they come looking for help and discuss solutions with them
- Identify problems in the school setting, such as bullying and/or aggressive behavior
- Review students’ medical and mental health history
- Interview parents and teachers of students and update their records
- Create plans for students who are experiencing hardship at home
- Monitor and report on students’ progress
- Refer students and families to mental health services or psychiatric help
- Research new ways to improve children’s wellbeing
- Offer guidance to teachers of high-risk children
Requirements:
- Active Illinois Social Worker License
- Strong background in family and behavior support
- Active School Social Worker PEL
