What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Control Technician position at Select Signing, Inc?
Company Information:
We are a traffic control company that has been in business for 7 years and are fast growing!! We provide sign and barricade rental, installation of permanent signage, traffic control for special events, pavement markings, and more! We work to exceed customer expectations and provide superior service.
Requirements:
- Able to successfully pass pre-employment and random drug testing per company policy and Federal Department of Transportation regulations
- Understand site plans and specifications
- Ability to work as a team player
- Perform basic maintenance of equipment and vehicles
- Wear all PPE as required by state and federal guidelines
- Report to work timely as projects are time sensitive
Qualifications
Education:
- High school or GED equivalent
Experience:
- Experience in the construction field is preferred, but not required
- Ability to operate a computer and applications, such as Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Licenses/Certifications:
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred, but not required
Work Conditions:
- Be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Requires extensive standing, climbing, bending, pulling, and lifting of materials/equipment up to 50-100 pounds
