Job Title : Sr Software Engineer
Location : Clearwater FL 33764 (REMOTE ROLE)
Duration : 8 Months
Description :
- Leading the full lifecycle develop of embedded real time safety critical navigational software.
- These solutions are defined from requirements, implemented in code, verified in simulation & hardware testing, and certified with government and safety organizations as part of Aerospace Products.
- Requirements decomposition and work assignments.
- Sensor management & navigational feature definition & design.
- Software architecture and coding of Realtime OS.
- Integration & System activities.
- Certification & Artifacts.
- Unit Test & coordination of External Verification & Validation activities.
- Factory deployment and support.
- Ability to code in multiple languages.
Required :
Preferred :
Understanding various software development lifecycle (waterfall, Agile).
Demonstrate the ability to develop efficient and high-quality embedded software and architecture.
DDC-I DeOS operating system.
Inertial Sensor usage.
GPS (SASSM or M-Code).
Kalman Filter implementation or optimization.
Developed software in certified or regulated safety environments (Ada & C / C ).
OpenArbor Ada toolset.
Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
GIT / BitBucket.
Jira.
Diverse and global teaming and collaboration.
Effective communicator.
Team leadership and coordination experience.
Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience .
