Job Title: IT Project Coordinator (Hybrid schedule)
Location: Hybrid (Troy, MI US 48083)
Contract Length: 15 months (with potential for permanent conversion)
Schedule:
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (may vary some weeks).
- Open to discussing flexible scheduling options.
- Thursdays: Required onsite at HAP Troy.
- Other days: Remote work in Southeast Michigan.
- During go-lives and special events, weekend work may be required at the Command Center in Metro Detroit.
Job Summary:
The IT Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the transition from Cerner to Epic EMR systems for newly integrated client sites. Working alongside the Project Manager and multiple project teams, this position will assist in coordinating various aspects of the project to ensure smooth execution and successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing project activities, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Support scheduling, documentation, and tracking of project progress.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create reports, presentations, and project materials.
- Facilitate meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Provide logistical support during go-lives and special events, including potential weekend on-site presence.
- Adapt to changing project needs with flexibility and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Project Management Office (PMO) role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work on-site on Thursdays and be available on weekends for critical project phases.
