Physical Therapist

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team for a healthcare facility in Haxtun, CO. This is a 20-week contract position with the potential for extension. The role involves working in both inpatient and outpatient (IP/OP) settings and offers a competitive pay. Candidates must be licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) (no PTA’s), and experience in pelvic floor therapy is a plus. The position features 8-hour day shifts with no on-call duty, and overtime/holiday pay details will be discussed. We are looking for ASAP starts to meet urgent needs. Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient (IP/OP) settings.
• Assess patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies for long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document patient progress, treatment modifications, and outcomes in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Utilize specialized techniques for pelvic floor therapy (if experienced) to assist patients with related conditions.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, facility protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain a safe and effective therapy environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Stay updated on the latest physical therapy techniques and advancements to enhance patient care.
