Part-Time Used Car Sales Associate

Job Summary:

As a Part-Time Used Car Sales Associate, you will be the face of our dealership, providing excellent customer service to clients in search of a pre-owned vehicle. You will assist customers throughout the entire buying process, from the initial vehicle inquiry to the final sale. Your goal is to ensure each customer leaves satisfied and confident in their purchase.

Key Responsibilities:

· Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.

· Vehicle Presentation: Present and demonstrate the features, capabilities, and benefits of various pre-owned vehicles to customers.

· Sales Process: Guide customers through the entire sales process, including test drives, vehicle selection, financing options, and closing the sale.

· Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the dealership’s inventory, including vehicle specifications, pricing, and availability. Must be able to add cars to company website.

· Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with potential buyers to answer any additional questions and to encourage a positive purchasing decision.

· Paperwork: Assist in the preparation and completion of all sales-related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with dealership policies.

· Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

· Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales or customer service is preferred but not required.

· Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with customers and close sales effectively.

· Knowledge: Basic understanding of automotive features and the ability to quickly learn about the dealership’s inventory.

· Work Ethic: Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales goals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

· Part-time position with flexible hours. Minimum 3 days a week, including possible Saturday.

· Work is primarily performed in a dealership showroom with some time spent outdoors on the lot.
