JOB DESCRIPTION

Select’s Accounts Payable Clerk will perform administrative functions in accordance with policies determined by or in conjunction with management. The clerk will provide general administrative clerical support to the Accounts Payable department.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support for the department.
  • Answer the telephone and provide information to callers or route calls to the appropriate person.
  • Route incoming mail appropriately and timely.
  • Provide general clerical support when needed.
  • Order materials, supplies, and services.
  • Daily mail run to the post office to pick up mail and deliver twice a day.
  • Maintain Corporate accounts payable email account by responding to inquiries or routing invoices and emails to the appropriate person.

  • Knowledge of office procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to handle high volume of emails and phone calls.
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • High level of knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Software.
  • Must have the ability to work well with people, be a team player.

Physical Demands and Exposures
  • This position works inside a climate-controlled environment. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.
  • Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
