The ideal candidate for the Call Center Sales & Customer Service role will have demonstrated the ability to achieve the following:
- Provide product or service information by answering and asking questions; to help give assistance to our customers.
- Improve quality results by recommending changes, suggesting samples, and guiding customers through their orders from start to end.
- Creating customer orders for custom blinds, and assisting them with walking through how to measure their windows and making sure the product will fit their needs.
- Take inbound calls and answer customers via emails, chats, and text messages.
- Go the extra mile every time to surprise and delight customers.
Skills/ Requirements
- Any type of previous customer service/customer care role - either via phone or in person is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Good typing skills
- Ability to work with fractions and measurements
- Positive and friendly demeanor toward every customer and colleague
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Awareness of and interest in the design, and home décor
- An obsession with creating an elevated client experience
- Demonstrated skills in project management
- Self-starter, quick learner, and team player
Pay
- $18/hour to start for training
- $19/hour during the probationary period
- $20/hour as your standard pay commission
- Paid holidays
Shift/Hours
- First 4 weeks (during training) you will work 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
- Our hours of operation are 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
- One weekend day is required (either Saturday or Sunday). Weekend hours are only 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Requested shift changes are possible after clearing the probationary period and on an as-needed basis.
- Your shift will only change if you request it and there is an opening, so no need to worry about constant shift/hour changes
