We are seeking an experienced Industrial Controls Specialist to join our team in the Worcester area. As an Industrial Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing industrial control systems using PLC controls.
About the Position
This is a full-time, contract-to-direct position with a strong potential for permanent placement within 6 months. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), or hold a BSEE, or have a combination of relevant education and work experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement industrial control systems using PLC controls
- Develop HMI and PLC programs based on machine specifications
- Assist with machine design and develop electrical documentation
- Participate in the testing process, perform software maintenance, and develop training manuals as needed
Requirements
- Working knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- Team player who can work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving abilities
