Join a dynamic and innovative team working on semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other high-tech industrial and research projects. As a Planning/Scheduling Professional, you will develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives, deadlines, and resources. You’ll play a critical role in coordinating across engineering, procurement, and construction teams, supporting world-class designs for globally recognized clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage fully integrated EPCM schedules from scratch using CPM methodology.
- Interpret project documents (Scope of Work, P&IDs, General Arrangements, etc.) to build schedules.
- Apply EPCM scheduling principles, ensuring proper logic, sequencing, and durations across engineering, procurement, and construction tasks.
- Maintain schedule integrity and provide accurate updates during project execution.
- Support look-ahead planning, activity tracking, and resource allocation.
- Participate in client-facing schedule reviews alongside project and construction management teams.
- Ensure Earned Value Management (EVM) principles are incorporated, aligning schedule updates with project performance metrics.
- Analyze critical path schedules and propose workarounds and optimization strategies.
- Utilize Primavera P6 to create, update, and analyze project schedules.
- Coordinate schedule integration with earned value reporting for tracking progress.
- Engage with contractors and teams using collaborative pull planning software (preferred).
- 5 years of Planning/Scheduling experience on EPCM projects.
- 5 years of experience with Primavera P6 and schedule analysis.
- Strong understanding of building construction practices and timelines.
- Familiarity with collaborative pull planning software (preferred).
- Experience working with EVM (Earned Value Management) and integrating it into schedules.
- Ability to analyze project schedules, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Strong communication skills to present schedule updates in meetings and reports.
- Location: Clayton, NC (On-site)
- Term: Temporary (through 12/31/26, with likely extension)
- Pay Rate: $42/hr. - $45/hr.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
- Travel: Reimbursable if home location is more than 50 miles from Clayton, NC
