A Plumbing Designer responsible for drafting systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects throughout the United States. These drawings will be used for BIM coordination, pre-fabrication, and installation.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit/BIM experience preferred).
- Plumbing Systems Design: 5 years
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
- Experience in drafting schematics and technical drawings with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with building, plumbing, and fire protection codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey design concepts.
- Plumbing Systems Design Certificate (from ASPE or similar)
- Design and develop plumbing and fire protection systems, including hot/cold water, waste/vent, storm drainage, and gas systems.
- Prepare load calculations, fixture specifications, schedules, riser diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Work with AutoCAD ( Revit experience is a plus) to draft piping systems and coordinate with project teams.
- Supervise junior designers, drafters, and technical assistants.
- Ensure compliance with building codes (IPC, NFPA 99, and other relevant standards).
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities.
- Provide on-site verification of plumbing systems and support construction administration.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
