BIM Coordinator career opportunity available!ÂAbout the Role : A well-established mechanical contractor in Smyrna, GA is seeking an experienced BIM / VDC Support Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for new project setups, database configuration, managing software licenses, and assisting in the creation of 2D / 3D drawings for mechanical and plumbing projects. You’ll work closely with the detailing team and field technicians to ensure smooth project delivery.Key Responsibilities : Set up new projects in Revit, coordinating construction documents (architectural, mechanical, plumbing)Maintain and update BIM software licensesAssist with prefabrication spools, material reports, and shop drawingsProvide support for field teams with detailed 2D and 3D plumbing drawingsCollaborate with field technicians for as-built verification and layout point exportsWhat You’ll Need : 5 years of BIM / VDC experience with a mechanical or plumbing contractorProficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD MEP, Bluebeam, and Microsoft OfficeSolid understanding of construction industry standards and the ability to read and interpret design documentsA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer-Aided Drafting, or a related field is a plusPlumbing field experience is an advantageStrong organizational skills for managing technical data and project filesWhy Join This Company?Our client is a trusted leader in the industry, known for delivering top-quality plumbing and mechanical solutions for major commercial projects.
