GIS Specialist

Selectek has an established client that has an exciting opportunity for an entry level GIS Specialist. This role will support internal and external clients on a wide variety of projects including local government, environmental permitting, engineering, site assessments / inspections and more.Job Duties : • Utilize GIS techniques and software to assist project teams understand, interpret, visualize and report on geospatial data and feature relationships• Work under general supervision to complete project tasks including data development, data analysis, data collection, map production, and similar tasks• Perform tabular data management tasks, data entry, spreadsheet calculations and similar tasks• Plan and conduct GIS work individually and through a project teamRequired : Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geosciences, Computer Science or related field with demonstrated GIS coursework0-3 years of GIS experience in development, mapping, visualization, analysis and reporting of geospatial data.Knowledge of ESRI SuiteJob order details : ÂThis role will support internal and external clients on a wide variety of projects including local government, environmental permitting, engineering, site assessments / inspections and more.Sponsorship :  Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holderPay range :  $20 / hour - $21 / hour ÂTerm of assignment :  6 months contract to directÂPay method when direct : Hourly and eligible for overtime payÂLocation of job :  Hammonton, NJHours and shift :  Monday - Friday, 8AM – 5PMÂWork from home :  Not likelyWorking remote :   NoÂOvertime expected :  NoÂTravel :  NoÂWork attire :  Business CasualÂDoes the client require a background check and a drug test?  YesÂPlease contact Lizzie Johns at 470-203-0754 or Ljohns@selectek.net for more information.Â
