Mechanical Project Manager (HVAC)

Selectek needs a Mechanical  Engineer  for a partnering client near Charlotte, North Carolina. Candidates will need a strong background in HVAC design for large-scale projects. This client is moving quickly to interview candidates with their desired skills and characteristics!Employment Type : Temp-to-PermExpected Salary Range : $36-$41 per hour depending on experience and backgroundLocation : Charlotte, North CarolinaJob Requirements : - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering- Minimum of five years  of experience in mechanical system design / coordination- Knowledge of AutoCAD,  Revit, or similar design software- Proficiency in HVAC design ÂJob Duties : - Primarily supervising construction and installation / commissioning of systems- D esigning HVAC systems including refrigeration, chilled water, hot water, and airflow systems- Perform load calculations and feasibility assessments of proposed projects- Troubleshoot existing mechanical systems- Estimate costs of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to complete projects- Create engineering drawings and specifications for plumbing and fire protection if necessary- Subcontract specialized craftwork where required- Recommend improvements or upgrades to design where requiredIn addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.To be considered for this position, apply via the link, or send an up-to-date resume to  jfairbanks@selectek.com and reference this job posting.
