Senior Overhead Transmission Line Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting cutting-edge energy transition projects. In this role, you’ll collaborate with global Transmission & Distribution (T&D) teams, develop design deliverables for utility upgrades, and interface with utility and developer clients. You will be instrumental in ensuring quality engineering solutions for greenfield and brownfield projects.Details : Pay : $64-$65 / hourLocation : Fully remote, anywhere in the U.S.Term : Contract through September 2025 (likely to extend)Responsibilities : Develop detailed engineering deliverables, including bills of materials, stringing charts, and structure drawings.Perform QA / QC for design calculations and ensure compliance with NESC, ASCE, and RUS standards.Use tools like PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Tower; familiarity with LPile and MFAD is preferred.Mentor team members and collaborate on high-quality deliverables for global clients.Interface directly with clients, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.Requirements : Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Power Engineering.Experience : 8 years of direct overhead transmission line design experience.Preferred : Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).Skills : Proficiency in PLS software, AutoCAD, and strong communication abilities.This position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on the energy sector while working remotely.
