Needed immediately :  A Structural Engineer with a PE License in Kansas City, MO.ÂÂJob Details : ÂProvides well utilized designs of members and connections for Detailing and Manufacturing that meet customer’s requirements and having a focus on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high performance work teamAssures building’s structural integrity and safety of own work along with the work of other Designer’s by checking their workSign, seal, and date drawings, specifications reports, or other documents that correspond to the metal building portion of projects prepared under the sealing engineer's immediate personal supervisionDevelops own advanced product and procedure knowledge and improves technical knowledgeAssures customer design service needs are met by meeting design schedulesCollaborates with project teams to discuss problems and challenges and help create solutions to move forward in a cost effective and efficient mannerProvides technical assistance to customers on specific projectsMentors Design Engineers by providing technical guidance for customers, feedback on Design check projects and guidance on internal design procedures and systems / toolsRequired : ÂBachelor of Science in Engineering  Professional Engineering registration  3 to 6 years of engineering experience  2 years of engineering experience on complex multi-unit projects  Solid knowledge of building codes  Knowledgeable in steel design.Preferred :   2 years of pre-engineered building (PEB) experience  AutoCAD and / or Revit experience  Competent in company systems and applications  Competent knowledge of company product and design proceduresSalary :  $100-$120KDuration :  PermanentLocation :  Kansas City, MOIf you are interested or would like more information on this position, please click the apply button or contact me directly at : tharvey@selectek.net or call me at (678) 802-6625Â
